Saw this on my local news

I have no idea how I would be able to give a quick lesson on how to drive a manual while being held at gun point. That's crazy.

It could work the other way. If I were held at gunpoint and told to learn how to drive a manual, you'd probably learn a lot faster. Not that I recommend this.....

Actually it could be worse since a person would try and rush it. You're right, guns aren't a great way to learn how to drive a stick!

I can imagine something like this could have happened after the guy gets out:

"well, It's your problem now, kiddo."

"I SAID NOW!"

"Okay then, if you truly want it. Press the pedal on the left fully, put the gear lever in a diagonal position to the left and forward, then press the right pedal fully, and let the left pedal go. Also don't forget to turn left when you start, because the car feels weird going straight."

and since they likely aren't wearing a seatbelt, the impact will hurt them badly.
